Less can really be more. This is a simple build, yet the end product is the epitome of tranquil living. No fanciful walls, no huge built-in carpentry anywhere to clutter the space. Vinyl flooring, beautiful venetian blinds and cleverly placed lights give the living room a soothing feeling. Not to mention the vast amount of space that gives the house a very comfortable feel. The white walls and wooden-brown floor of the living room gives it a very warm and cozy feeling, while the white, black, and turquoise colour scheme of the kitchen makes it look sleek and clean.

 

The homeowner chose not to have top cabinets in the kitchen. White glossy laminates, black quartz counter top, and glass for backsplash gives the kitchen a very spacious feel. Also, notice that the chimney hood is suspended and installed in front of the glass backsplash. Not an easy feat and it's also very unique here in Singapore.
